panoramic pictureWant to taste a Sauvignon Blanc “as mindblowing as your first morning glory or a squirrel grip after a vasectomy”? Then you need to visit the multi-award winning Leaning Church Vineyard Tastings and Functions Centre for a fresh, fun and funky experience!

Located only 20 minutes from Launceston at Lalla, in north-eastern Tasmania, on the Tamar Valley Wine Route, Leaning Church Vineyard (formerly Lalla Gully) resides in a spectacular natural amphitheatre at the foothills of towering Mount Arthur.

Taste our six premium cool-climate wines, sip three single malt Tasmanian whiskies, laugh at our quirky wine descriptions, graze on a local cheese plate, tour our historic “leaning” church, wander through the vines, enjoy the landscaped gardens, admire local art work, browse the gift shop and book your next group function.

Our preferred caterers – Tasmanian Gourmet Kitchen and Matsons Catering – will ensure your next event is truly unique. From wine guessing games to Gourmet BBQs to Grazing Feasts to Six-Course Degustations, it’s all possible at Leaning Church!

Our casual cellardoor area seats up to 50 people, our permanent marquee on a fully paved surface overlooking the vines seats up to 140 and our new secluded lakeside marquee will seat up to 360.

Join owners Mark and Sarah Hirst for your next relaxed, fun, interactive and family-friendly tasting sensation.

Leaning Church Vineyard is open seven days a week 10am – 5pm from October 1 to April. Group bookings are welcome all year round.

We look forward to seeing you at Leaning Church Vineyard very soon…
