This is a cosy and compact underground shop, so there's a nice buzz when there's a few people in. The staff are great, and the screens have always shown all the races whenever I've visited.

terrible place, brand new shop opposite san carlo italian the big woman working there hasnt got a clue. i had 4 mins to place my bets before kick off so no time to faff about, i wrote on plain ladbrokes slips my basic football bets of number of goals to be scored and another for a player to score 2+ - i asked specifically if it was okay to do so and she said yes thats fine and they were accepted and my money taken before kick off. i asked what the prices were a few moments later and she took the slips off me to check on the system, she said she cannot find them and the bets really needed to be placed on the automatic machines no on slips, and that the bets would be void?!.. how and why, i stated i specifically asked this question before placing and you agreed this was okay and the bets were accepted before kick off, she realised she had maybe made a mistake and said i'll honour them anyway like she was doing me a favour and said its not a problem - so why make it into one then, really poor. she still couldnt give me the prices and i left never to return to this shiny new branch as the staff do not know what they are doing, even though she has been working in other shops years and are passive aggressive and rude.
