Organic Food Shop

I was staying about a block away from this store and that I had landed in heaven - an organic store.After I dumped off my luggage I went to this store and asked about the fiarly small offering of fresh produce. Very little of it is organic. They do offer several organic products from Biona and Suma on the packaged shelves but much the same you can get in the 10 - 12 other shops in the area.They are owned by the same people that own Palm half a block across the road - who carry much the same in organic products.I find the listing of 'organic' on the outside of the stores in London a little misleading. Sure - they all probably carry 100 items that are organic and another 30-40 items that are made specifically for vegans but really - misleading to people like myself that have quite an different understanding what an organic food store is having owned and operated one for 31 years.I think the MAJORITY of the fresh produce being offered should be certiied organic.And if the produce is produced in an non-organic manner I do not think it deserves the label of 'natural' either.This is false advertising.Nice local store though. The staff were quite good and I shopped there a few times.I think I found a store that will meet my needs up in Walthamstow. We will see.

Yesterday 10.7 23 in grape tree Norwich whilst I was standing at the vitamins I was absolutely gobsmacked to hear how rude and disrespectful one of your customers was to a male member of staff .The member of staff was working alone and he was simply changing some notes in the till for coins and counting the coins into the till this took no time at all.This customer was so impatient and disrespectful to him This outspoken woman was an embarrassment however your member of staff was completely polite and courteous to this customer it was absolutely disgusting how she treated him . I felt for him this customer should be utterly ashamed of her attitude and behaviour.I hope that someone from Grape Tree reads this and passes on my comments to your member of staff for being such a credit to your business

A rare 'weigh your own' shop that do a lot of organic foods such as nuts & seeds, flour, cereals, etc they also have a small bakery section selling organic bread, pastries.Prices can be a little higher than you'd expect, but for quality & organic while being able to grab what you need is great..The shop is nestled out the way somewhat, but a must visit at least once as you maybe surprised. Staff are very welcoming and polite which makes the visit relaxing and enjoyable.

A wide selection of goods, priced to compete or out do some major supermarkets. Range of packet sizes. Staff pleasant and helpful. Clean and tidy shop.

Great service, friendly staff, fantastic organic veg and fruit, particular with the delivery service options in times of lockdown. Wide range of products in store for a small floor space. They also have fresh dairy, frozen meat, etc. Also a good place to get refills for ecological household products (incl. shampoo etc). You may sometimes need to check the short expiry date for some fresh products, and the cost for some items can be higher than elsewhere. They also have items you can't find in any other shops in this part of Newcastle.

Lovely local honey. Will be getting second jar soon.
