Hollywood Bowl Birmingham Resorts World
It's okay-ish. It's fine if you're there just for a game, but if you want to order something extra - it becomes a problem. It seems that they are understaffed and often experience technical issues - the few times we were there menu items (drinks in jugs or ice cream) were unavailable or waiting times were high.

Resorts World Birmingham
We've been in Birmingham resorts World for an event this week, we've found it to be absolutely fantastic. A really lovely location, with few eating places, and shops if the desire takes. The arena is really good, not whopping big but just right to feel close enough to the entertainment in any seat ... definitely would return here. Will check out future events so can come back for sure!!

Acocks Green Bowl
Needs clear signs to say car park is at rear. Place needs a refurb. Staff and place felt abit dab. Bowling situation was abit confusing as we had a large group but some of ua has extra games and rest wasnt able to dinish the games. Plus most the bowls were of small finger size.

Eldon Soft Play
Dangerous place! They have an area for babies and toddler (there is a sign up stating under 18 months) and yet this area is constantly overrun with big kids, about 7 or 8 years old, playing really dangerously and jumping aggressively in the baby/toddler ball pool. We've been 3 times due to living so locally, and every single time there have been tons of big kids jumping about, doing run and jumps into the ball pool with little babies inside!! The big kids have the entire rest of the softplay, so why are they overrunning the baby and toddler softplay too?! It's so incredibly dangerous. I have a 14 month old and didn't leave her side, this big kid ran and jumped in the pit and nearly trampled her at one point, I got her out of the way by about 1 second or she would have been trampled. The place should be sued. And the staff don't care at all, they can clearly see this happening all the time and turn a blind eye. The food also takes about 45 minutes and is pretty horrible, very overpriced for how bad it is, I wondered why I was the only one getting food but this is clearly why.

Big shout out to Mark who went out of his way to make sure my son got onto the VR machine and set up the screen he wanted. He was very polite and helpful and radioed down to security to open the baby changing facilities for my toddler. Thank you for your fabulous service.

Had a great time here with friends. Booked two lanes and had two games. Shame the cash machines were turned off and the whole place shut at 10pm

Hollywood Bowl Birmingham Resorts World
An expensive mediocre experience. Arcade games are a rip off, the headset on the VR game was broken so couldn't play that game, the Hungry Hippos game had 2 balls come out each round (not the game I remember). All ticket machines bar one were out of order. Only one change machine working. Tickets had ran out on one of the games. Queued to collect a prize, waiting patiently for the little boy in front to choose his prize (member of staff didn't have the sense to serve us whilst he was choosing). Once he was done off she went to serve other customers (with no apology or explanation), even customers that had turned up after us. When we politely pointed this out we were still made to wait. On collecting a jug of Fanta (paid for with the booking) we were made to wait again by several members of staff who were too busy talking amongst themselves. We were given one glass of ice between three of us. We asked for more but instead it was split into three so we had not more than 2 cubes in each pint glass. We then proceeded to our booked bowling lane and the display was switched off. We asked a passing member of staff for help who told us to go to reception and ask for it to be dealt with (clearly too much effort to help). We spent a lot of money for such a terrible experience. I've worked in customer service a very long time and I've never seen such shocking customer service. Will definitely not be recommending to anyone, in fact, I'll be advising my friends to steer clear!

All Star Lanes Holborn
This place is awesome.Bowling, food and bar all in the retro 1950's Americana style. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is decent. Bowling is always fun and it is no exception here.Best to note that there are only 4 lanes so it is likely never going to be possible to walk in off the strret afor a game. A reservation would be required.Prices are decent and there is fun to be had.Great for a works party or a night out with a group of friends.

Nuneaton Bowl
I would very.much recommend Nuneaton Bowl. Staff were lovely, and fun, there's a good atmosphere and good music. The equipment and areas were clean and in good condition. Only issue was (as I have read elsewhere in reviews) the music was too loud - I would say at a level of decibels that would be likely to cause hearing damage over time, which could also impact staff. I couldn't hear what the kids were saying and I really had to shout. If music volume was lower, I would give 5 stars: food was brought quickly and staff made an obvious effort to ensure noone waited in queues Apart from loudness, it was a great night out and I will certainly choose it again. But I will wear ear plugs, I still have a ringing in my ears.
