Amazing service! Found us exactly what we were after for our staycation, there was a refreshing amount of options available considering the short notice, not often seen when we've booked elsewhere.The team gave us a really useful idea of what was in the local area which saved us the researching and bookings but also lovely to have the local advice personalised to you rather than a generic internet search!The house was in pristine condition and it felt more like being a guest at someone's home than renting a generic holiday house. It was a relief not having to worry about whether the dog would be permitted or permitted with certain restrictions, she was accommodated as well as we were!We will certainly be back thank you!

We visited Gwrych Castle for an escape live event. Amazing experience, you could tell a lot of effort had gone into making the experience so good. The characters were fantastic and scared the hell out of me. Please bring this back next year. Thank you

We visited Pentllie Castle gardens on an open day. Well worth a visit. Gardens are lovely. Beautiful venue.

Underrated gem of a country estate. Highlights are definitely the views and the walks, the interior of the house is interesting but rather sparse. We were lucky enough to catch it on a clear sunny day when the view was at its best. Definitely worth a visit.

Thank you so much to the whole team at Upper House, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience. From the moment we first looked round, to the very end of the night on our wedding day, Georgia and the team made us feel like royalty. Everything felt so personal to us, and we didn't have to worry about a thing. The staff moved floral arrangements, ferried guests to and fro and made sure the whole day ran perfectly, without us even realising. I have lost count of how many guests came up to us to say Wow

My partner and I just got back from a very relaxing lovely babymoon at Oakley Court. The location is convenient if you live in London. The grounds and facilities were great, there’s lots of quiet hidden spaces and areas for relaxing over a drink. We also rented one of the self driving boats for an hour and got to go up and down the Thames.The River House was really beautiful and relaxing especially when you get the weather and can enjoy the tranquil environment. We enjoyed the lunch and dinner offerings there and the drinks.The service was really great throughout, everyone was very warm and friendly.Our room was very spacious and came with lots of great mini cowshed amenities and snacks and drinks which we enjoyed. Only minor con with the room was the spotty Wi-Fi.Thanks for a great stay Oakley Court.

Lovely walk along the loch.

Although the house appeared to be clean i found myself touching dust and spider webs a lot. The house has lots of room and every bedroom has an ensuite and a sofa inside. The showers are relatively powerful and the bathrooms are clean. One bathroom has a huge window near the bath which allows people see directly in while you are showering. There is no curtain for privacy. I noticed the room that i was staying in, when you pulled the blinds down people could still see in. This wasnt great for my expressing and it made me feel very uncomfortable. The cutlery had to be washed before using it as food particles were on it. The garden is nice and you can sit and watch the goldfish. The owner can be confrontational and he also smelled of alcahol. Its a bit of a worry for the garden as well, it has a wooded area near it where people go hunting. Whats to say a stray bullet couldn't hit you or your family as its so close. Lovely area but a few things could be improved on.

I’d never been to Holkham Hall before and felt extremely thrilled and privileged that I got the opportunity to see the magical Christmas by Candlelight there in December!Such a stunning place, with every room exquisitely decorated with a different Christmas theme, even the kitchens. So much thought and detail was put into every decorative display. You could sense the pride that each of the stewards had in ‘their’ room as they explained the origins and reasons for particular objects and artifacts. All in all, I had a thoroughly wonderful evening. I can’t wait to visit again next year.
