Best laid plansOur Leaning Church team has many years of local, national and international event management experience and will manage your event personally. Together we will develop a comprehensive running sheet to ensure your day is organised and stress-free – regardless of where you are located!
Food, glorious foodOur preferred caterer, Richard Matson from Matsons Catering, excels in
developing a function and/or wedding menu to suit your tastes and budget utilising the outstanding produce for which Tasmania is so well known. Tempt your taste buds with a selection of starters, such as Spinach, leek and pumpkin tart, micro herb salad, basil and tomato relish; Asian char grilled butterflied quail with corn and basil fritters; Cajun chicken salad, lemon, mint and coriander dressing; Asian smoked ocean trout salad; Tiger prawns salad on zucchini noodle pancake; Greek lamb salad with feta, olives, rocket, oregano; or Chinese five spice duck and mango salad. And then enjoy a grazing feast of Chargrilled butterflied quail with honey soy ginger glaze; Atlantic salmon with lemon and parsley crust sauce beurre blanc; medallions of eye fillet beef with salsa verde; Chicken, spinach and prosciutto saltimbocca; Moroccan roast chicken; Roasted lemon, garlic and rosemary lamb; Chicken scaloppini with sage and Marsala; and Roasted pork belly, star anise orange caramel glaze.... And finish with a selection of sweet treats, such as Citrus Lemon tart; passionfruit coulis, King Island cream; Ice cream terrine, fresh berries, raspberry coulis & almond bread; Tasmanian berry summer pudding; Warmed chocolate fudge cake, raspberry coulis and ice cream; Vanilla bean panna cotta with summer fruits; Orange and almond cake, citrus coulis, double cream; or Hot sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce. For weddings and private parties, Leaning Church Vineyard prefers a minimum of 30 people. All beautifully prepared and presented…and perfectly complemented by premium Leaning Church wines! Our estate has endless picturesque corners and vistas, lending itself to both formal and informal photography, with ample settings for both. For that special day, it's an unrivaled all-in-one wedding venue. Our historic 'leaning' church carries all the character of its one hundred years and is pretty as a picture. And our garden wedding service lawn has the most stunning views over the vineyard to towering Mt Arthur. This, and our event management experience and venue capacity means you can spend the whole of your special day in one gorgeous location. Step from your car into the beautiful landscaped grounds, make your way to the church or an outdoor service to say 'I do' against a stunning backdrop, then on to the drinks lawn and marquee for your Tasmanian feast. |
