The Wines & Vines of Leaning Church Vineyard
Fresh, relaxed, bold and breath-taking – these are the key grape-growing and wine-making philosophies of Leaning Church Vineyard.
We are not wine experts. But we love the experience of tasting new wine, whisky and food – and sharing our random thoughts with other like-minded consumers. All visitors to Leaning Church Vineyard are encouraged to impart their tasting observations!
We pride ourselves on producing wines that can be appreciated by connoisseurs and enjoyed by novices. Each variety has its own unique style, singing the song of our vineyard’s unique terroir, soil and aspect. Leaning Church Vineyard is located in a spectacular natural amphitheatre at the foothills of Mt Arthur in the internationally acclaimed Pipers River region in Tasmania's North East. It’s all a labor of love – an intensive micro-managed operation that is hand-pruned and hand-picked. Our grape vines were planted more than 28 years ago, and have produced award-winning wines for almost as long, previously under the labels of Lalla Gully and Clover Hill. We hope our creative labels, interactive tastings team and spectacular views conjure an instant image, giving you a creative hint of what you are about to experience… |
